So, what are Bengals fans thoughts on Andy Dalton long-term?

Right now, not very optimistic. He can't throw the long ball, A.J. was wide open for a few TD's and he either underthrew it or overthrew. He obviously gets one more year, with hopefully more weapons and better O-line play but I am very worried, misses too many throws. I think his pocket presence sucks, too conservative. Misses open receivers. Sad thing is, we have a defense but the offense just kills everything, the defense was on the field way too much. 0 for 9 on third down, I think that speaks for itself. Then, at the end, have a chance and call a route 5 yards short of the first down, and throw it to him. Real smart. I'm also tired of this Marvin Lewis experience, I've seen enough.

I'd disagree with that.

Bengals are an offensive coordinator away from being a pretty dangerous team. If Dalton wasn't so average, that would help too.

You said the same thing about the last 3 playoff trips in the last 4 years so you're about the last person I listen to. They are an offense away from being a real contender with some key pieces already in place.
