DeMarcus Cousins returned from his indefinite suspension earlier than the team had expected.

Cousins arrived for a Christmas Eve practice.

"When he apologized to the team, two players stood up and said, 'We've heard this bull[bleep] before,'" the source said. "'You're either going to be with us, or you're not. We don't want to hear any more excuses.'"

The Kings have tried to persuade Cousins to enter counseling.
I guess it was either Garcia and Salmons

I wish Chuck Hayes would just whup his ass on the practice court one day. Obviously, I don't mean in basketball, because he couldn't, but Chuck Hayes ought to just fuck this kid up one day. Show him he ain't hot shit just because he says he is.

Not sure if it'd do anything but it might show him that there are veterans who could put him in his place. The Wagon probably said the same thing Salmons or Garcia apparently did.

Your infatuation with this scrub is trivial

Infatuation? Not so much. He's a good player for his skillset and size. That's all I've ever said.

Either way, your reply made no sense, but you're used to that, aren't you?

He's played well since his last return. Got his first career triple double last night against the Celtics.

I hope we're not talking about DeMarcus Cousins being a scrub?

He may be an incredibly inefficient scorer, he may be one of the worst centers in the game around the rim, and he may have bad shot selection but he's not a scrub.

He just needs to get his head out of his ass and mature and get in better shape, and he'd be a great player. But even with all that, the guy is excellent almost everywhere else. He's one of the best offensive and defensive rebounders in the game, he's a prolific passer (assisting on more dunks, layups, and threes than the majority of bigs), surprisingly he's developed into quite the defender, and he also posts a steal rate you'd expect from a wing.

The guys Rasheed Wallace and Zach Randolph. Some teams going to take him off the Kings hands in hope that he will mature there, and he won't, then some other team will get him for chump change and when he's around 26-27 he'll suddenly mature.
