ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- New York Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum will not be back with the Jets next season according to a report from CBSSports.com.

Citing a league source, the report says Tannenbaum will be fired as soon as Monday and the Jets will enlist an executive search firm for a replacement.

A Jets spokesperson declined to comment on the report. Coach Rex Ryan is scheduled to conduct a press conference at 4:45 p.m. Monday, and although the general manager usually speaks, Tannenbaum is not on the team’s media itinerary.
Yes

Tannenbum needs to go

I'm sorry but there's NO way Tebow could have been worse than Sanchez this year.

He's a significantly worse passer. He was worse passing last season than Sanchez was this season and that's with guys like Eric Decker and Demaryius Thomas as opposed to Jeremy Kerley and Clyde Gates.

Can't find myself caring about anything to do with the Chiefs. Rac will get fired..Pioli will stay and we'll draft Mike Glennon number 1.

I hate following this team.

He protects the ball at least and the running game would have performed much better

The only way Tebow helps is if you completely change the offense like Denver did last year which is dumb because he's not going to be here for the long-term and teaching these guys a brand new offense in a lost season that won't be around next season makes no sense

totally agree. de will be a need too but we have to finally address the secondary.
Idk. I'm not in love with Milliner.
I'd rather take Moore or Jones if he fell.If we had a really good pass rusher, it would lessen the need of a corner. QBs have all day to pick our secondary apart.

It might not have been a lost season if Sanchez hadn't been the starter man.

We might have the players back there, but our secondary would do much better if we had a better pass rushing attack. Our d-line has been vastly overrated for two years now. I really think we could get by with Houston-Bentley as our corners if we had a great DE rushing the passer. I'd have no problem picking a DB in the 2nd round.

Probably easier finding guys who can get after the QB in later rounds than it is to find quality CBs

Maybe so. But I'd rather take a shot with Houston and Bentley back there with a DE at 5 than Milliner at 5 with no decent DEs on the roster.

I'd much rather go DE but I would understand if they took Milliner.
