The Chicago Bulls may waive Nate Robinson and his non-guaranteed contract by Jan. 10 if Marquis Teague continues to play well in his extended minutes.

The development of Teague, presence of Kirk Hinrich and possible return of Derrick Rose could make Robinson expendable.

Sources said that Richard Hamilton has already been shopping in trade talks, which are expected to intensify before the February deadline.

The Bulls' current payroll of $73,548,450 stands $3,241,450 above the luxury tax threshold.

The Bulls have never paid the luxury tax despite being a high revenue team.

I'd be extremely disappointed if they just waived Nate. He leads the offense off the bench, and he's more of a scorer than Teague. If anything, the development of Teague would make Hinrich expendable, not Nate. This team would still need Kirk for his defense though.

Cheap ass organization.

Nate's a good role player, I don't know why teams keep wanting to get rid of him.

He's a big defensive liability and he shoots too much at times. Once Rose comes back we really don't need him at all. But seriously i'd rather keep any player than Carlos Boozer, you wanna save some money, dump his ass off somewhere.

Boozer has been playing some pretty good ball this season. He's not an all-star, but he's certainly no liability on the floor as he's been labeled the past couple years.

Are you kidding? the guy stands around like an oaf on defense, doesn't move his feet, we pay him millions of dollars a year yet he will just stand there and watch loose balls. Not too mention, every shot he takes you hold your breath because it is a terrible fadeaway. Granted he can hit that fadeaway but it is still an awful shot and he misses a lot too.
