Lakers stretched to a 17 point lead, Rockets did the "Hack-A-Howard" thing, Greg Smith outplayed Dwight Howard, Kobe scored 39 but had to take 31 shots to do it, Chris Duhon sucks and for three straight possessions he either missed a three, missed a two, or turned the abll over which Douglas turned into 7 points, where Rockets starters played like crap (5-27 combined for Lin/Harden) but the bench won them the game (15-25 combined for Smith/Douglas).

Not even close, but I do like him. Landry, had he stayed in Houston, would be our starting PF right now and we wouldn't have had to waste these drafts on 4 PFs. Landry has great post moves, and an excellent jump shot that extends quite a ways out, and he hits his free throws. I'd love to think Smith could be that, and I understand you mean it more in the sense that he killed the Lakers like Landry used to, but I'm going to squash that comparison now.

You want to know why teams like Sacramento aren't getting better? Landry went there...and barely got playing time. They clearly have trouble evaluating talent.

And for some reason Nola's HC had it out for him, even though he was far and away the best PF on their roster. What a waste.

I love how he's being rejuvenated in Golden State. Friggin' love it.
