Hurricane I'm a bit biased here but I'm just not that impressed with RG3. His completion percentage is a result of a gimmick offense that has him throwing 70% dump offs and 30% to guys wide open down the field because teams are so worried about stopping the run. Teams are starting to figure out how to stop them and he's getting exposed.

that was quite possibly the dumbest play call I've seen all day.

Doug Martin had 251 yards and 4 TD's today, wow.

45, 67, 70, and 1 yard TD runs, holy shit.

It's a product of the offense he's in. They're pretty much running Baylor's offense right now. They are babying Griffin right now with the playcalling, and it's pathetic, but the screen game and the spread offense isn't what makes Griffin so impresssive. It's his ability to turn nothing into something. Every team prior to the Steelers saw glimpses of pure playmaking ability both with his legs and his arm.

Now they abandon the run game way too soon... I don't know what changed, but they just refuse to go between the tackles anymore. At least not in the red zone. Morris is having an incredible year, and they'll ride him down the field, then line up in shotgun in the redzone, or run a sweep to the short side of the field. The playcalling is ruining the flow of the offense, and thus making Griffin look far less impressive, and probably killing his confidence. Playing from behind in the 4th quarter really displayed the weakness of the right side of the offensive line as well. Tyler Polombus shouldn't even be on an NFL roster, Griffin didn't have half a second to throw the ball when we needed to get down field late in the game.

18 dropped passes by the receivers certainly isn't helping things either. Not to mention Fred Davis going down really hurt. He was his most reliable target, and his safety blanket. (Garcon's foot fell off in week 1 too.) This team also leads the league in penalty yardage... I'm not really trying to make excuses, but I'm just pointing out that it's crazy to expect a 22 year old rookie quarterback to constantly bail this team out of trouble given all the problems that he has to deal with across the roster. He was doing just that through the first 7 weeks, but it's just asking too much. Someone else on this team is going to have to step up if they want to remain a competitive team. I just don't see it happening. Same old heartless Redskins that I've been watching my entire life.

This entire team is decimated by injuries though. The season was pretty much lost when Carriker and Orakpo went down.

The Bengals put up a good fight today.

Putting up a fight is not nearly good enough. This team needs changes, starting with the head coach. Just tired of it.

That post started out as me trying to talk about Griffin, but it just turned into a long-winded rant about the sorry ass Redskins.

My apologies.

@Matt_Barrie
Jerry Jones just pounded locker room door because no one would let him in. It's the angriest I've seen him all year. #Cowboys @BlueStarBlog

Man, officiating was so bad across the league this weekend. Even college ball had some horrible officiating.

Anyone see the Giants fumble return for a TD against Pitt? Not only was Ben's arm going forward, but they REVIEWED the play and still upheld the call... and there was a blatant block in the back on the return as well.

Just one example. The entire Skins game was a joke as well. Replacement refs were no worse than this.

Meh. It's about time the Giants got the benefit of the doubt on some calls.

Redskins Rule states that Romney wins the election.
Go Panthers :)
For whatever it's worth I just found out that people use the LSU vs Bama game as an indicator of who wins..When LSU wins..The Republican wins & when Bama wins the Democrat usually wins.
