I've been incredibly frustrated by not seeing even a glimpse of these players in Houston's first three games. What do y'all think?

I think Jones. Basically cause he is the type of player that is good at a few things, but not great at anything. Think he could contribute.

i picked white and don. if none of them are playing there HAS to be a reason, though.

Royce White isn't ready to play. He still hasn't kicked his anxiety issues and looked terrible in the preseason. Terrence Jones IS ready to play, but as you've seen in the first three games, Marcus Morris as of right now is a better option at PF, so there really isn't much room for Jones. And Montiejunas is he projects as a PF falls in the same category as Jones, as a center I don't see a reason for playing Cole Aldrich over him but maybe McHale knows he's too slender to play C.

But whether these rookies are "ready to play" or not, the reason they aren't is the Rockets have a log-jam at PF, and only added to it by bringing in three rookies at the position...

This is just a result of the Rockets loading up at PF.

Patrick Patterson is getting 34 minutes, Marcus Morris is getting 20 minutes. Then you have Asik with 35 and Aldrich with 15. That doesn't leave very much room for other guys.

just be patient. like nola said, asik, aldrich and morris have been pretty soild and deserve the minutes

the most vulnerable guy to get benched is Patterson, but im like McHale and like him

i know it sucks because you want to see the rooks, but have to wait. someone has to sit when you have so many of the same position

Patterson and Morris' minutes need to be swapped. Marcus is outplaying Patrick. Easily.

Patterson has the third lowest offensive rating on the team, behind Asik and Toney Douglas, and is tied for the third highest defensive rating. So yeah, I don't think you can make changes after only three games, but he's been pretty bad so far.
