i think we were in the select group that said lin would be just fine, too.Unfortunately not, it's common sense that OKC won that trade though.

when you know youre going to lose that player and probably for next to nothing; if anything..then you trade him. and let's be real, the thunder were a threat but they couldnt get it done last season and their own conference got harder, they werent going to win this year.If you're a championship contender and you make a trade that makes you a fringe championship contender, you're not winning anything.
At the end of the day, the Rockets gave up picks and Jeremy Lamb for James Harden, a clear upgrade to Jeremy Lamb. They more than likely weren't going to bring Kevin Martin back next season and James Harden is significantly better than he is anyway.
sure theyd get wins and they still will, but they weren't winning it all.I agree they had to make the trade, but it's nonsense to just say they weren't going to win this year.
If you're trading Harden mid-season, you're essentially admitting defeat that season.I'd say then you'd have to incorporate new major pieces into your system mid-season, which could cause problems, but that doesn't really matter for the Thunder since they don't have a system.
its easier to work things out with 82 games to go rather then climb up hill with 41 games to go.At some point could have been the trade deadline when they were 3rd or 4th in the West, didn't have to be before the season before they even gave it a go
no. they have maynor to come off the bench and set up players this season and kmart to score. they arent the talent harden is but tjey really aren't that far off.If you're trading Harden mid-season, you're essentially admitting defeat that season.
With this deal they admitted defeat before the season even started.
What else is new lol.Pistons suck.
because now they dont have anything to lose. go out and play. dont worry about losing harden. they have what could be two lottery picks and another prospect. its not like they lost so much talent they have no shot either. they're still a championship caliber team. But they got worse with this deal, why bother trying to work out with this team if you didn't think you could win with a better team?
beyond. this is pretty much his team in terms of scoring but thats probably going to kill us. i also dont like seeing how most of the plays we run for gmoe are screen and rolls/pops lolStuckey looks terrible lol.
