The New England Patriots have acquired CB Aqib Talib from the Tampa Buccaneers, in exchange for a 2013 4th round pick. New England also receives a 2013 7th round pick.

I love this move. Talib isn't what he was a few years back, but he's better than Alfonzo Dennard at this point, and if he gets his head together, he could really help out our secondary, by allowing Arrington to play in the slot again when Chung comes back from injury.

Good trade if Talib gets his head on straight.

A 4th is still fairly steep for a player with this much baggage though.

Great move by the Patriots, they do everything right from an organizational standpoint, I wish the Bengals could take some serious lessons. We all know the talent that Talib has and we all know the Patriots will turn him around, as they seem to everyone else. It's gonna be a steal for the Patriots.

WHAT ABOUT OCHO?
Ochocinco ran such easy routes in Cincinatti, and New England requires the receivers to be excellent route runners (hence why guys like Welker, Edelman, Branch have done so well). All Ocho could do is run a deep route, and thats not what Bill wanted from our team.

Haynesworth is a better example of this scenario, however

This will turn out to be insignificant
