Very bad news for Ravens' defense: The team fears torn triceps for LB Ray Lewis and torn ACL for CB Lardarius Webb, according to sources.

ray is out for the season. I doubt he retires after a season ending injury but i wouldn't be surprised if he does

Man, I really wanted to see Ed Reed finally get a ring, but this certainly isn't going to help.

This is rough news for the Ravens. All happening at the same time too. Missing all those guys on Defense puts more pressure on the offense, and we'll see if they can handle it. I don't see it being an easy road to winning the division for them, if they do. Ray Lewis has missed games before, but this is the 3rd time in his career he's going to have played less than 10 games. They missed the playoffs the other two times. Starting out 5-1 could be good enough to hold the other teams off, but I think it'll be much tougher for them now.

they've inched by other teams though. Their wins haven't come easily so this is really bad.
