I think Leonard will be good. Not an all-star, but a very quality starter for many years.

A scout watching Raptors rookie big man Jonas Valanciunas described him as "soft" and "scared" to Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio (Twitter link).
Damn. Hopefully that was just because of it being his first NBA game. At his size, he shouldn't be soft or scared at all.

did you catch all of the game? he was getting bullied around sometimes. we dont even have a dominate paint guy, yet. i hope its just some early jitters he can work out because i like what jonas can be.

Hey CC, at Duke was Rivers a guy that liked to get to the rim or did he settle for outside jumpers?

Drummond was very impressive last night

Jonas was getting bullied by much inferior competition overseas, this is not new. He'll get some weak side blocks, but he's probably going to be a poor defender.

I only watched since his first 2 points (or his only 2 points lol)... he didn't look like he was even going to try and get some boards. He saw him try to pull off a hook in the post that he missed but I was happy nonetheless with him posting up. Like you said, hopefully it is early jitters.
