EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- T.O. wants in on the circus.

During Monday night’s game against the Houston Texans, free agent Terrell Owens tweeted that the Jets should pick him up.

“Hey JETS!!! I’m available! I’m ready, willing & able! Call my agent @jordanwoy & let’s make it happen,” Owens tweeted.

The Jets' No. 1 wide receiver, Santonio Holmes, is already out for the season, while rookie wideout Stephen Hill missed Monday night’s game due to a hamstring injury. Against the Texans, slot man Jeremy Kerley was elevated to the top of the depth chart.

Jets coach Rex Ryan didn’t want to bring back veteran Plaxico Burress because he wanted to stay young at the position, so there’s little chance he’d change his mind and bring in Owens.

Owens, 38, last played in the NFL in 2010 as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals.
Lets do it

Whee....

On Sunday, the Giants’ defense treated Browns rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden like he was wearing one of those red "do-not-touch’’ practice jerseys. Not only was Weeden not sacked in the game, but he was barely touched en route to lighting up the defense for 291 passing yards

I would like to say the Browns offensive line is good, but it's pretty mediocre. Aside from Joe Thomas of course.

was reading this on yahoo fantasy sports about Ryan Matthews... well, this one's a first.

"Mathews (unspecified issue) did not practice Wednesday, though he took "mental reps," Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports."

Drew Brees takes "mental reps." It may not be the same thing, but when he does it it just means he's imagining the game out on the field and running through it on his own. Much like kids do when you're in the street by yourself thinking you are your favorite QB or something.

Can't believe the Steelers lost to the Titans but one thing I can say is that I was completely fine with it.
