LMAO. Get em Brandon.
lolSanu is a better QB than Dalton
Hit the ground at the last second, I was watching the game
nice try trying to pin the loss on the replacement refs tho
Falcon fans aren't very smartI can't tell if it's complete or incomplete, the gif is a little grainy.
The unsportsmanlike penalty was called on Kyle Shanahan. After the false start, two of the refs said that there should be a run-off, and the game was over. (which apparently isn't the case if the clock is already stopped.) Shanny disagreed (strongly, lol), so they flagged him. It was horse shit, but it didn't necessarily cost them the game... they might have had a better chance at getting a ball into the endzone, but it was mainly a lack of execution on the Redskins' part after they got inside the 30 that cost them the game. Not like they made a call that determined the outcome of the game, so it seems like a bit of overreaction to me. I didn't even know what was going on that last drive, just complete chaos. I thought the game was over two different times with what I thought would be a 10 second run off but they didn't take the time off the clock. I thought the unsportsmanlike penalty was for a Washington player chucking the football 50 yards down the field after the play was over but I guess that wasn't it. Bengals thought the game was over too with a 10 second run off so they all ran onto the field, just a mess. I was confused & frustrated that our veteran Newman made a huge boneheaded move to put them in good position.
The announcers were as clueless as the officials. I was more upset with the fact that Newman who is in his tenth season in the NFL would commit a foolish penalty like he did with the game on the line, seems like a long-time veteran would know better than that. Bengals could have went for it on 4 & 1 or at least attempted the 54 yard field goal but didn't do either, they punted instead which was questionable. I seen a Redskins player chuck the football down the field after the play was over, I was surprised he didn't get called for that. Safe to say the officials just lost control of the game at the end.The unsportsmanlike penalty was called on Kyle Shanahan. I don't know what Newman did, but I'll tell you right now that he's about one more groin injury from his innards just imploding. The poor guy was absolutely dominant earlier in his career when he was healthy, but since those injuries piled up (and they are very painful, mind you), he's lost his consistency. You're going to have games with him where he resembles his former self, but most of the time he'll be average/good enough to downright poor. He's probably better than you're other options at #2 corner, but he's not going to light it up for about 60-70% of the time. There are things he can still do. He's a good tackler and can lay some nasty hits like the on that forced fumble last week. Just be happy with what you get.The announcers were as clueless as the officials. Got this text from a veteran scout a few minutes ago: "Peyton Manning can't throw the ball anymore." I'm reserving judgment, but ...
