Dwight Freeney will not play for the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Freeney has a high-ankle sprain and may miss multiple weeks.

I'm sure this make the Vikings feel better not having to worry about him on the defense. He's an impact player and I hope he isn't out too long. I enjoy watching his game. One of my favorite defensive players, with such a sick spin move.

I was really torn on who to pick between the Vikings and Colts... This now helps me with that decision! Not good for the Colts.

He was diagnosed on Sunday with a high ankle sprain, and he will obviously miss a few games being out with that. Absolute shit news for the Colts. It was a solid defensive effort against the Vikings as a whole, but Robert Mathis loves to act like Casper when Dwight isn't in the game.

It does seem like when they are in the game together, they feed off each other, but when one is missing, the other doesn't seem to do so well.
