Holy fuck. My dad entered me into a auto pick fantasy league from his work since he already had a team and didn't want two, and I ended up with Matt Stafford, Calvin Johnson, and Julio Jones. Fuck yes. I'm gonna win it all.

It is incredibly unlikely, but the Vikings do have a shot to be decent enough to be in the discussion for a little while. Their first two games are very winnable and they always play tough in their division games. If they can pick up a couple of tough wins, they might be OK. Now and then Chicago or Green Bay will route them or vice versa (in Minny's good years). It's the nature of that division.

Ponder does not suck, by any means. Had he started from week 1 last year, Minny may have been able to salvage their season for at least seven or eight wins. They sucked at first because of a certain #5 who couldn't complete a pass to save his life. It's like he'd forgotten that the bounce pass is an incompletion.

They have some WRs, now. Jerome Simpson looked good in the preseason (though he's sitting for a three gamer) and Percy Harvin is no slouch. Michael Jenkins, while no stud, is solid and hopefully they can get these rookies to produce a little bit. If they have a running game, they should have a decent offense.

Chicago: 13-3
Green Bay: 11-5
Detroit: 9-7 (I do like what the Lions are doing, but I see a one year step back before they really take off)
Minnesota: 7-9

Again, Donovan McNabb is not the reason that their defense couldn't do shit in the 2nd half of the first five or so games. The leads were there and the defense gave it back.

And to think, I though BWare was only a biased Cowboys/Rockets/Wolves fan....

Vikings are one of the worst teams in football, and even fucking 701 can admit that.

I see 4-12

Chicago is not winning 13 games. I'm not seeing why all this love for them is warranted.

Again, Donovan McNabb had nothing to do with most of the 1st half points they scored. He played horribly, and then in the second half when he couldn't even convert a third down and the most they'd manage was a field goal, it shouldn't have been up to the defense to do so damn much.

Donovan McNabb was shit last year. I don't know what your loyalty is to him, but he was god awful and you just need to accept that. I have to watch Vikings games because of where I live. I know what I saw and I'm incredibly confused by your defense of that piece of shit.

We were watching the same games, your bias against him as a Cowgirls fan is why you hate him so much.

Maurice Jones-Drew finally reports to Jaguars. Not going to be the starter Week 1, however.

I don't let my Cowboys fanhood define how I view other players. Donovan McNabb was great for a few years, terrible for the last 2-3. He had flashes of his former self, but it was always on deep balls or a check down that went for a good amount of yardage, the things that Andy Reid's system thrived on.

I was excited, initially, when Minny picked him up for so cheap. I thought that maybe he'd help them have at least a decent season and maybe even a WC berth, but then Leslie Frazier started him for too long (I do think race was involved, there). Ponder should have been playing by week three or four.

I will never forget the atrocious amount of times I had to hear PA say, "and McNabb short-hops Percy Harvin on third down, and the Vikings will have to punt." while listening to the games in the tractor last year, or watching it happen in the games I was able to watch. Donovan was horrible. Are you a fanboy?

There was absolutely no reason to start an ineffective quarterback for so long. It happens in the NFL. Just look in Indianapolis, where the only reason Caldwell was a head coach is because Dungy wanted to leave it in the hands of who he thought was another capable African American head coach. That's all it was.

I agree 100% with Bware on this. It's not racist, it's the truth. It's clear that's what Dungy did. For McNabb, it's definitely possible. He clearly sucked.

Saying he only played because he's black while ignoring the part where they were good friends in Philly is lol worthy

Actually, "good friends" has a lot to do with it, too, but there was definitely some racial loyalty between Frazier and McNabb, even though McNabb was reportedly lethargic in practice and unwilling to take constructive criticism and work on his game. He shouldn't have started a single damn week.

How can't you guys see this? And it's not like I'm biased in the discussion of black QB's. I've been a huge believer in RG3, not to mention one of my favorite QB's in the 2011 draft was Kaepernick.
