If there was a NBA Re-Draft, where every team protects 3 guys (and their salaries), and then have a draft to fill out the roster, in order to create more league equality (idk, seems like the only logical reasoning for a league re-draft), which three do you think your team would hold back? Not who should they, but who would they?

Kyrie, Waiters and Varejao is who they would hold back.

I'd replace Varejao with TT.

Drummond, Monroe, and Knight. No question about it.

Monroe, Knight, and Drummond. Pretty simple.

It's hard to decide between Marcus Thornton, Tyreke, and Isaiah

And I don't know how this would help the league anyways lol. All the super teams would have their three best players and could pick up even better players than they had in the redraft.

except there is this thing called a salary cap. Like the Lakers could protect Kobe, Pau, and Dwight. But thats $66.11M already between those three. In a day in age where guys like Serge Ibaka and Roy Hibbert get paid $12M a year, they cant afford a good 1st round guy without going over the hard cap, because they'd have to fill 8 more spots, unless they have 12 minimum salaries.

Its a lot more strategy than you'd think, which is why I had it open

Why wouldn't the Jazz keep Burks over Hayward? Burks' ceiling > Hayward's by far.

I would argue against that
