SI: You Name 'Em

Gonna start a little project right here to make the months until the new season starts worth the while. Hope it's going to be fun.
Basically, this game is about nicknames for our beloved NBA players, an area that has been lacking creativity for quite some time now.

You have all these veteran/reitired players with great, unique nicknames; nicknames that make it clear what player is being talked about. The Mailman, The Big Ticket, Diesel, The Glove, The Dream, The Answer, .. you name 'em.

With the newer generation, all we have are initials, numbers or other abbreviations of their names. DRose, CP3, KLove, CB, Iggy, Melo, DWade (ok, Wade might have been the last guy to get a proper nickname thanks to Shaq, but nobody calls him Flash anymore).

So yeah, this is boring. This is where we come in, give those great players their unique nicknames, I'm thinking with the ideal goal of using those names within the forums and everybody understanding who's meant ..
I was thinking we tackle one player's new nickname for one or two weeks, everybody can post suggestions, which will be voted upon in the end.

I will provide visual aide if this works well, like some sort of Uppder Deck cards.

I know this is gonna require heavy activity of the creative brain cells, but shit could be really fun if it works out.


So if you don't mind, lets start with Timberwolves bigman Kevin Love.
