Tarvaris Jackson has fallen on the Seahawks' depth chart at quarterback.

The front office is "talking to a couple of teams" about trading Jackson, according to a source.

Jackson carries a $4 million salary, which may prohibit a potential trade.

Seattle is waiting patiently for the preseason to play itself out, which may bring about more suitors because of injuries.

Jackson is behind Matt Flynn and Russell Wilson on the Seahawks' depth chart.

I wonder what teams could be interested in him. Dude is pretty bad in all honesty.

Cardinals come to mind
I honestly think they should try to nab him. The asking price is probably too high right now, but their QBs suck right now, so might as well throw in another to increase the QB competition.

I wouldn't say he's bad. He's a very serviceable backup who can have an excellent spot start here and there. Had Brad Childress actually given him a chance, and I mean a legitimate chance ala not pulling him after one bad game every time, he may have developed into a decent starter.

I don't think he has the tools to have been a decent starter. I think a career backup is all he would have ever been.

I actually agree with Bware.
He was poorly mismanaged, and the whole Farve thing wasn't good for Jackson. I could totally have seen Jackson being a Jake Plummer type of echelon QB.

They have Flynn, Portis, and Wilson. They don't need TJax at all.

They won't get more than a 6th in return for him however

Matt Flynn is going to win the starting job and Jackson will be traded to the Jaguars for a 5th round pick lol.

I hope Wilson wins it. To me, starting Matt Flynn is saying "alright, we are going to play not to lose". He's the safe bet, but I don't think he has it in him to go out and win a ball game. Of course we haven't seen much of Flynn, but he doesn't scream game changing QB. Wilson however has the it factor.

I may have been wrong about Flynn. He's got it all. Except the athleticism.
