Ray wasn't fully healthy in the playoffs IIRC, his ankle was still giving him problems.

With a full off-season of rest he should be good to go. I want him on this team, especially if Mikey Millz doesn't come back. Ray would be a perfect fit on this team, only thing I'm not sure of is if he would be cool with getting less minutes and coming off the bench. He's not going to start.

Why wouldn't he start? Just bench Chalmers, it's not as if he runs the team or plays defense.

He still does take the ball up the court a good portion of the time and TBH, I think he's better than Ray at this point in their careers.

I think the Heat could survive with LeBron or Wade taking the ball up the court instead.

The 76ers and Spencer Hawes have reached agreement on a two-year, $13 million extension, according to sources.

Philadelphia also re-signed Lavoy Allen this week.
The Knicks have agreed to a one-year deal with James White.

White most recently played in Italy for Scavolini Pesaro and last played in the NBA in 2009 with Houston.

White averaged 16.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game last season.

6.5, right?

I'm kind of surprised George Hill got 8.

Brooklyn hurt its chances of getting Dwight Howard with all the other deals the Nets made, as I wrote yesterday.

That part remains true, but they may not have damaged their odds to quite the extent we previously thought. As a reminder, none of these contracts we're hearing reported are on paper yet (moves can't be made official until July 11), and until they are there's always room to wiggle.

Well, something could be wiggling. A source close to the negotiations tells us that Bosnian forward Mirza Teletovic might not sign with Brooklyn for the non-taxpayer's midlevel exception, as originally reported, but for the taxpayer's midlevel, which is a smaller contract with a maximum of $3.09 million for the first year.

Nash never wanted to go to Toronto he wanted to be closer to home in Phoenix, he falls into the 8.9 mill exception. Deal is done

If there was no RFA, small market teams would lose stars right after their rookie deals..

It's dumb that large market teams without cap space can get any free agent they want.
