"Yuck... Omer Asik Offer is back loaded with a nasty $15 million year in the 3rd year... ouch that's gonna be tough to match."

He's got the potential to be an elite rebounder and great post defender. First two years of the deal, he'll be making around 5 million, and if he lives up to the expectations, then 15 million might not be so terrible and they could work on an extension, or he could flop and that 15 million dollar expiring deal is a valuable trade piece. What is the rational to giving Asik 15 million in one year? lol.
The Suns are meeting unrestricted free agent Michael Beasley on Sunday and restricted free agent Eric Gordon on Tuesday.
Beasley averaged 17.9 points per 36 minutes last season as the Timberwolves’ sixth man.
The Hornets are expected to match any offer sheet that Gordon signs.
The Clippers are in advanced talks with unrestricted free agent Jamal Crawford, sources close to the situation tell Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld. Los Angeles is aggressively pursuing Crawford and are hoping to fly him out later this week for a face-to-face meeting.
Crawford has also drawn interest from the Celtics, Timberwolves, Suns, 76ers, and Pacers and all six teams contacted Crawford last night. The 32-year-old averaged 14.0 PPG and 3.2 APG in a shade under 27 minutes per game. The guard has always been a strong shooter from the charity stripe but raised his free throw percentage to a career-high 92.7% last season.
Asik is like a 40% free throw shooter.when i think of Asik, i just can't stop thinking of his choke job against the sixers
botched FTs, didnt want the ball at all. had that face. maybe he had a bad foul? cant remember
