Damn theres go getting Phil Jackson, lol. At least Phil is speaking the truth. I truly thought that Melo and Amare would be able to co-exist with the pressure of NYC on top of them to play like a true team. It is still not too late to salvage the team, but they have a lot of work to do and who know if they do finally put all the pieces together.

Hahaha I'm surprised my Phil is overrated comment didn't piss people off, but I really do believe it. Anybody else think he's thought of too highly?

i wouldnt say hes overrated but dude has been blessed with great players who fit what he wanted to do.

That's exactly my point, whereas other elite coaches like Karl and Adelman are constantly competitive and only have select years when they're truly title contenders, and that's often with second tier superstars and well coached role players.

You give those 90s Bulls and 2000 Lakers rosters to either Karl or Adelman, you've got the two of them with the rings they're searching for. And I said rings. They'd have done the three-peats as well.
