Isn't Mario Chalmers suppose to be good at defense? He keeps getting absolutely roasted by opposing PGs, to the point where they have to move Wade or Lebron on Rondo, Westbrook, etc., late in the game.

Durant is going to score, doesn't matter who you put on him, but if they can't stop Westbrook, they're done.

Don't think he was ever advertised as a good defender. He's a solid defender, but expecting him to shut down Russell Westbrook is a bit of a stretch.

D Wade hasn't exactly been impressive on defense either

I'm not saying they need to shut him down completely, but Rondo and Westbrook have been doing whatever they want on the court against the Heat. Obviously, they are tough to stop but you can't let them dictate the entire game.

The Dallas thing last year was fine to me, but now it's kinda gettin lame with Cavs fans attaching themselves to whatever team faces the Heat in the finals.

They're only overrated because people are claiming they're going to run away with this series and it won't ever be close. There is no doubt that that they're the best team in the West and are a more than worthy opponent for the Heat.

The Thunder are clearly a better team than the Heat, and saying "worthy opponent for the Heat" is an absolute joke.

The Thunder and the Spurs both would've beaten the Heat in 5 or 6.

I really wish the Thunder could stay together and become an NBA dynasty. Good for the NBA if it were to happen.

Dynasties aren't good for the NBA imo, parity is. But that's something the NBA's never really had.

i think an okc dynasty would be good because it shows that you can build a team via drafting and good coaching. but i mostly agree. parity is something ever league needs.

oh, and wayne needs to quit talking shit and stick with one damn team. dude is more of a bandwagon fan then BC, or djt.

Jim Rome Asked David Stern About the NBA Lottery Being Fixed and Stern Responded, “Have you stopped beating your wife?”
whether or not the NBA draft lottery is rigged.

It’s a legitimate question, of course – more than a handful of people I’ve talked to asked, “hmmm, wonder if Benson agreed to buy the hapless, talentless Hornets under the agreement that Stern deliver him a franchise player who could stir fan interest?” – but the NBA commish has had enough with the questions.

Undaunted, Jim Rome asked Stern about the lottery this afternoon. In a mocking tone, Stern shot back, “have you stopped beating your wife?” as if to say that’s how much credibility the question has. It doesn’t appear as if Rome has ever had any such incident. The 1985 draft, though … conspiracy theories linger.

We’ll post the audio as soon as it is available.
