I like Beal more but I see no problem in taking Drummond over him considering his so called weaknesses are all made up, bogus garbage aside from shooting.

if he lands in detroit i would just hope he sticks with greg monroe and not CV. cv was a cancer to daye. ben isnt going to be on the team to help either. if hes at our pick i could see us passing just because but we would NEED to make that pick if hes there.

When's the last time someone entered the league with Drummond's size, speed, strength and athleticism at Center?

These Kwame Brown comparisons, Hasheem Thabeet, etc are so terrible. If they had the kind of ability and talent Drummond has they wouldn't have sucked.

Just because you under perform in College doesn't mean you have a questionable motor and don't like basketball.

Run him some pick and rolls in the pros with a PG who actually looks to pass on the other end, and you have something here.

Those concerns were risen well before college.

Part of the under performing had to do with his team. I'm not going to pin everything on Uconn, because Drummond could have done better but he would so obviously be a dangerous player in pick and roll situations, but Uconn hardly does them, and when they do their guards were always looking for their own shots.

The reward far outweighs any risk with him.

He's got a lot of Dwight/Amare in him but the motor thing could could back to cost him. I think for Cleveland they need a wing more than Drummond but it's not a bad pick at all.

I agree, our collection of wings has been the worst in the NBA the last two years, but I'm not passing on Drummond to take Barnes, not a chance. I would take Beal over him, but I was just stating earlier the Cavs might not value Beal as highly as others.

Don't see how Portland could pass on him at 6.

There is no way Drummond falls to Detroit.

You're questioning whether teams want to take on the project, but who else would they take at that spot that is worthy of being picked there and isn't a project?

One of Lillard or Marshall would be available at 11.

they want a point guard from everything ive read. they want to go in now to help lamarcus.
They're not taking any of the PGs at 6. They'll take Marshall or Lillard at 11 if they want a PG.

they can get marshall at #11

they want a big and a guard most likely

If Beal is there, he's theirs, but other wise that guard is a PG

Drummond/Marshall > Lillard/Sully
