I don't think Lamb would be a reach at nine, he's got real talent and potential. If I made a top 10 list he would probably be in it.

Davis
Beal
Gilchrist
Robinson
Drummond
Barnes
Sullinger
Lamb

I don't know, didn't put any thought into that lol.

I just think you have some teams that are real good judges of talent and where their teams are, then you have some other teams that aren't. What was with McGrady last year? The rumors of Chris Kaman maybe signing with Detroit? None of that makes sense. Which brings me to another point, and you would know this better than I would, but if Tayshaun wasn't a part of those Larry Brown teams (or all those ECF's and Final appearances never happened) would Tayshaun still be a Piston? Would Rip Hamilton have lasted as long?
I can answer all your questions with: Dumars is a fucking moron.

tayshaun was the reason we didnt fucking draft melo. joe holding on to those players for so long is the reason we're handicapped now.

I'm not sure why, but when I think of Dumars I always think of some dude with a beer belly slouched over in a nice leather computer chair with a grin on his face, almost at the point of laughter.

I'm ashamed at myself that I used to think this guy was talented at what he did. Looking back at his track record, he is such a lucky mother fucker.

As if he actually thought Ben Wallace was going to be THAT good. And was practically handed Rasheed Wallace.

I honestly think we would have won more games without Tayshaun last year. I feel as if he is that negative to our team.

Eh I guess my point is that you can't blame him for not taking a SF to replace him when both of you thought he was a future AS.

I didn't think he was a future all-star. I might have said he deserved it that year where 4 starters made the game, but I don't recall ever thinking Prince was a future all-star. I never really liked Prince that much.
However, he was a rookie that year I think, not taking Melo over an unproven rookie was dumb either way.

i didnt think he was going to be a all-star year in year out. i said he deserved it one year, and he did. a lot of people thought he was snubbed.

The only reason people thought he was snubbed was because they wanted to see an entire starting lineup make it. By that logic Kendrick Perkins should have been an all-star too...

Not really. If Darko didn't bust, taking Melo would have been dumb

Taking Wade would have been a better choice.

We had Hamilton, who was a great player. We had an unproven rookie at SF. Melo was a much better choice. Don't care how good Prince could have been, Melo was and is a rare talent.

melo would have been the better pick. but really we needed a four, hence us taking darko. we also drafted delfino that year. should have went with bosh and josh howard. WTF
