Terrell Owens' attempted football comeback has reached a new low.

The Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League released Terrell Owens on Tuesday, according to ESPNDallas.com. Owens was productive for the Wranglers, but he didn't fulfill the obligations of his contract.

The team's owner Jon Frankel said that Owens refused to play in two upcoming road games that are important to the team's playoff run and Owens' no-show for a scheduled appearance at a children's hospital. Ugh.

Owens was not required to play in all road games, but the team wanted him to participate in the key ones. T.O.'s contract gave him a 30% ownership stake in the team, but that has been nullified by his refusal to live up to the terms of his deal.

"It's disappointing and unfortunate, but (he) could no longer be tolerated by the Wrangler organization," Frankel said.

T.O. nabbed 35 passes for 420 yards and 10 touchdowns in eight games for the Wranglers. While those numbers are solid, his inability to break big plays or produce at a 1,000-yard pace doesn't bode well for Owens.

Production has never been the problem for Owens. It's about seeing the big picture. T.O. still doesn't seem to understand that antics like going on Dr. Phil or getting cut by an Indoor Football League will hurt his chances to ever make it back into the league.
Wait for it....hahahahahahaha

It is sad how fast he derailed. Ruined a somewhat great career from all of these antics.

I don't care if it's wrong, I think the position he's in is hilarious because he would still be with the Eagles or Cowboys or whatever NFL team if he didn't open his big mouth when things don't go his way. He was the one who bought the mess upon himself. I don't feel sorry for him at all.

Owens Gets $50 Severance From Allen Wranglers

Shutdown Corner - Terrell Owens is getting ready to sue his former team, the Dallas-based Allen Wranglers, for wrongful termination, according to TMZ.com.

The wide receiver was booted from the team for alleged contract violations.

The Wranglers then insisted Owens return the 2012 Jeep Cherokee he had been given, sending an eviction notice, and writing a check for the receiver's ownership share in the team which turned out to be for $50.

if you really think you're gonna convince me to sympathize for this dude, you're out of your goddamn mind.

I understnad he's been cheated by people extremely close to him, but his antics still outweigh that stuff in my mind. Maybe I'm stubborn, idk. I just don't feel sympathy for him. Maybe one day E:60 will do a documentary on him and my attitude towards him will change.

I think I read somewhere yesterday the reason why they cut him was because the team its self is going broke and can't pay him lol
