Joe Kotoch (NBA Agent) said on Cleveland radio that Drummond is definitely on the Cavs radar, depending on how an interview goes with him and that they would love to draft MKG to pair with Kyrie.

For what its worth.

Drummond working out with Idan Ravin, Aka "the Hoops Whisperer", in a private gym in Manhattan

Drummond has lost 22 pounds since ending the season. He's at 268 now. He's very quick laterally for a big guy. VERY QUICK

290 is a lot to carry around, puts a ton of pressure on your knees, ankles, etc but it's interesting because even while he was with Uconn weighing that much, they said he was the fastest/quickest player on the team.

Ford also said he's had food poisoning, not sure how much that played into it, if at all.

thats a lot of weight at that age too. losing 20 pounds is smart. he'll put it back on though, hopefully in muscle.

You don't lose 20 pounds because of food poisoning. This should dismiss any stupid generalizations that he has a poor work ethic just because he didn't dominate the NCAA as well.

Ryan Blake, NBA director of scouting, said that Anthony Davis is the best big man to come along in years.

“My father (longtime basketball scout Marty Blake) always said a center who can dominate comes along about once every 25 years; we’re talking about guys who can change the game at both ends of the floor,’’ said Blake. “You could see that in Dwight Howard; that he might take some time to develop, but he would have that effect.

“Davis might be a power forward, but he’s so long and athletic he changes the game to that extent.’’

Davis displays a higher level of maturity and teamwork than should be expected of a player his age.

“He’s bright. He’s disciplined. He’s mature. He’s able to make other players better with his presence. He’s focused on winning and he gets the job done,’’ Blake said.

Going into the draft lottery while you already have a franchise player is a much better feeling compared to when it happened last year. The Cavs NEEDED to win the lotto in 2011, now it would just be a bonus.

Feel much better this year lol.

Nerve-wracking day for the Bobcats faithful. They're the one team in the lotto who needs to win it.

Dominant centers come along every 25 years huh?

Ewing, Olajuwon, Shaq, and The Admiral were all in the league at the same time.

They shouldn't win it though.

Let him go some where he'll actually develop lol

Sounds kind of biased but I'd say the Cavs would be a great destination for AD. Stable staff and front office, good organization with a direction and a star to pair him with.

It's not like he can go wrong on anywhere he ends up anyway, he's going to be a star. Only a real moron could stop that from happening.
