The relationship between Ben Roethlisberger and new Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley has been heavily criticized.

The scrutiny started when the quarterback and coach took several weeks to meet for the first time and continued this month when Roethlisberger said he was still "confused" about Haley's plans for the offense.

Roethlisberger said this week that any relationship issues have been blown out of proportion.

"People blew it way out of proportion," Roethlisberger said.

"It's something new, we're getting to know each other ... There's no trouble between us at all. When you get a comfort level of like eight years of the same thing and then you change it, it's just something different, so I'm not saying I don't like the playbook or anything like that. Some of the stuff is really - some of the concepts are awesome, it's just getting an understanding of something new."

Media blows just about everything out of proportion. Get used to it, Ben.

Either way, I don't really care what Ben thinks of the offense. He's the player. The player's point of view doesn't matter, especially when said player thought Bruce Arians was a good offensive coordinator.

The player's point of view does matter, especially if he's the QB. If he's not buying it, nobody else is either. If you don't have the respect of the players and they're not behind you, you won't have a job for very long.

I'm sorry, but when I'm Mike Tomlin and my QB thinks Bruce Arians is a good offensive coordinator, I'm telling my QB to shut his damn mouth and run the plays. That's what needs to be done. Ben is too involved, especially through the media. Tom Brady doesn't question the offense. Peyton Manning doesn't question the offense. Eli Manning doesn't question the offense. Ben needs to shut his fucking mouth and play.
