A Spurs-Pacers final would almost be as boring as the Spurs-Pistons series in 05.

It may be the lowest rated finals ever though.

Are we really criticizing James Harden because of 3 bad games instead of his 60 game sample size?
Really lol. Don't understand why everyone is so critical of James Harden. He would start on all but like 15% teams in the league. Miami, Atlanta, and LA come to mind.
Could probably make the case he is a top 5 SG in the league already.

I have no interest watching the Thunder or Spurs wipe the floor with the Celtics or Pacers, so to answer your question; no.
The Heat with Bosh who should be back by then, would make the Finals actually worth watching.
Neither the Spurs or Thunder would wipe the floor with the Celtics or Pacers. The Heat don't deserve a title. They aren't good enough. I don't want to see superstar power carry them past their ceiling.

I probably wouldn't tune it. It would be both boring to watch because of the teams in it, as well as the Spurs likely winning the series in 3 games. Yes, 3.

Yes they would. Pacers really aren't even on the same level as the Spurs or Thunder. And the only reason they aren't getting swept right now is clearly because of the absence of Chris Bosh. This series likely would have went MAYBE 5 games if there was a healthy Bosh in there right now. But I still believe that the Heat will win the series.

As for the Celtics, they are equally as good/bad as the Pacers really. They might have the experience and what not, but no one though the Hawks would get out of the first round, and they are lucking out now and playing the 8th seeded 76ers who are also not a very good team.

I'm not saying the Pacers aren't a good team, (I actually like what Indy has going there) since I do think they'd beat the Celtics in a 7 game series, but they are no where near as good as the Thunder or Spurs.

Spurs and Thunder are in another league than the Celtics and Pacers
And a Heat team with a healthy Chris Bosh is just as good as the Spurs and Thunder. Thus making the Finals worth watching. And I think it is dumb to say they don't deserve to win a championship, they clearly have the talent level to do so.

i already said if the 6ers/pacers advance its going to set up the nba with some low low ratings for the ecf and finals.

Nobody thought that Pistons team stood a chance against the star-studded Lakers. All I'm saying is the other three teams in the EC are reminding me very much of that Pistons team. Philly, obviously, is a ECF or Finals sweep waiting to happen, but Indy and Boston are good enough defensively and have enough scoring to make it a series. Don't discount these two teams. There's no guarantee Miami would beat Boston in the ECF, anyway, even if Miami is healthy.

No, I don't think Miami has the talent. They have three studs and a ton of role players that aren't showing up. Not to mention Spo has no set rotation, plays Anthony over Turiaf, and can't capitalize on his role players at all. Jones and Battier should be in a good rhythm, but he plays them so sporadically that they have no opportunity to develop a rhythm with their shot.

Since I've learned to appreciate the game more, and since I started studying the game, I've learned to enjoy "boring" teams like the Spurs. The Spurs are one of the funner teams in the NBA to watch.

100000%

I'd rather watch a team play true team basketball and execute at a high level than see an all star team playing pick-up basketball.

All three of those teams don't deserve to be in the same breath as that Piston team.

And they might not be showing up right now, but that does not mean they aren't there.

False.

Jones plays sporadically, Battier plays long stretches at a time and still can't shoot.

The Spurs "BIG" commercial is dope though.

It has the shook ones instrumental over it.

I just like entertaining series that don't end in 4/5 games.

You're underrating these Pacers. They're an excellent team.

Rumors are Spo brought back secret weapon Yakouba Diawara into the starting lineup to save the day.
