Toronto May Target Nash, Lin

The Raptors will pursue Steve Nash in free agency this summer, according to a report.

Nash, 38, is expected to look to sign with a championship-contending team.

Toronto reportedly also has interest in Jeremy Lin, who will be a restricted free agent.

Its a tactical move by Toronto, they dont wanna lose out on Nash so they'll throw a "big" deal at Lin early in order to keep us out the race for Nash..

I almost wonder if he doesn't care so much about championships. He very easily could have politely asked to be traded out of Phoenix in the last 3-4 years. It's not like he had to make a dick out of himself to make it happen. Maybe he wants to be in his home country for his last few years. Aside from that, Phoenix had championship caliber teams for a few years there. They just needed Alvin Gentry instead of Mike D'antoni at the helm. He probably understands that signing in specific places gives no guarantee.
