Minnesota #Vikings accept stadium deal; House & Senate to vote on it in the next 12 hours.
Looks like we will finally be able to breath in 12 hours. I hope the House can agree on 50 and not 100+

Still has to go through the Senate again but of course they'll pass a bill that is an even better deal for taxpayers than the first one they passed. After that it's to the Governor's desk for a signature.

RB is easy to replace compared to QB.

You should know this..

Then city council but both will be a 1 minute ordeal. It is done, like I stated the house was the only bump in this process and we got past it.

1 year and your calling ponder a bust.

Stick to hockey, Canadian.
Ponder was more of a reach than Tannehill was.

a mid-2nd grade value going in the early 1st. He's not a franchise player, IMO.

I don't agree and I don't disagree. He has the smarts to be one of the best. We finally have somewhat of a line to help him and added a weapon. This year is when I will actually judge him.

Ponder definitely isn't a bigger reach than Tannehill, Ponder's floor is so much higher. Still not a good pick at that spot and I don't have much faith in him being any better than his floor.

Such a great deal for all parties involved and if you really think about it, as much of a pain in the ass as the process was, this stadium deal is the picture-perfect situation. Lawmakers were able to come together, the best interests of the taxpayers kept in the forefront, a demonstrated desire to keep the franchise in the city...and in the end, we have a deal in which the Vikings will contribute almost half the costs of construction.

Minnesota will be awarded a Super Bowl once this new stadium opens and that single game will help the facility almost pay for itself. That and the Vikings can finally start turning a profit with luxury seating and all the other modern-day amenities the Metrodome doesn't offer.

Vikings reached a deal with the University of Minnesota to play at TCF Bank Stadium during new stadium construction.

Tannehill has a far higher ceiling though.

lol, no

Tannehill was drafted as high b/c of the Dolphins' greatest need and what was still available. The Vikes didn't reach for Ponder b/c they were desperate, they legitimately feel like he has what it takes to be an All-Pro QB in this league.

Actually yes. A lot of people think he has a very high ceiling but has a very high bust rate to go with it. Ponder wasn't thought as a top of the draft guy at all by anyone except for the vikings more than likely.
