Harden's a max guy even less than Joe Johnson is, but then again Joe Johnson got a max. I don't think you can give Harden a max though.

If you give Harden a max this off-season, he will be younger than Joe Johnson was the first year of his max deal. They're not even comparable.

EDIT: Not to mention Harden's max coming off his rookie deal will be for significantly less money than the $100+M that JJ got.
