Caron Butler fractured his left hand during the third quarter of the Clippers' Game 1 win over Memphis.

Butler's status for the remainder of the playoffs has not been determined.

It's not like they're going to win this series, anyway. The only way they have a shot is winning on Wednesday and going up 2-0, and Lionel Hollins isn't going to let that happen. He's ten times the coach Del Negro is.

The only reason they aren't calling for Del Negro's head in LA right now is because Nick Young had an on night, which happens maybe one in twenty games for him. He'll probably be garbage the rest of the series.

Saved for future reference.

I'm not gonna book it but I'd be surprised if the Grizzlies lose this series.

Don't have much faith in the Grizz this year. Gay and Z-Bo on the court at the same time doesn't work and I just don't think they have "it"

I have no idea what "it" is, but there's just something about the team that makes me incapable of believing in them.

I don't think one player having "it" means the entire team does.

i like the clippers but i feel the grizzlies are the better team and should win, but its hard for me to pick a real winner of this series.

The Grizzlies are clearly the better team. Last night everything just kind of came together and that led to a fantastic come from behind win.

The way I look at it, Memphis was able to get that 27 point lead with Zach Randolph never getting going. He's the man in this series, if the series is broken open it's going to be because of Randolph. You can call Blake Griffin a lot of things, but you can't call him a good defender, especially in the post. If Randolph can be aggressive and attack the rim rather than settling for those face up jump shots.

I don't know how many times he did that last night, but I'd like to know.

What scares me about LAC is that they won, regardless of how poorly Blake Griffin played last night. Granted, Memphis' bigs are capable of making him look like that for every game of this series, but will he be completely held in check. He got his dunks but did nothing else.

That's going to happen when you keep him from getting good position.
