A South Florida Sun-Sentinel article suggests the Dolphins' 2nd round selection of Jonathan Martin could signal the end of Jake Long's tenure in Miami.
Martin primarily play LT in college and there's some who believe the Long won't fit well into the Dolphins new offensive approach. According to team sources, the Dolphins plan to employ less power and more a spread-finesse type of offensive moving forward.
Long is due $11.2 million in base salary this season...which probably has way more to do with anything than offensive scheme.
