Sources say - "Dont be surprised if the Jaguars take Stephen Hill"

Word, I dig em.

Jaguars beat reporter floated this idea around, not sure how true it is or how likely.

"Jaguars GM Gene Smith is tied to QB Blaine Gabbert, and if Blaine Gabbert struggles this years, you very well could see GM Gene Smith fired mid season/near the end of the year. My sources say that Gene is trying to surround Blaine Gabbert with as many weapons as possible. Look for the Jaguars to trade the 7th Overall Pick in the draft to either the Seattle Seahawks or the Kansas City Chiefs. Its a possibilty that Justin Blackmon could fall to where the Jaguars would be drafting and They Select him or Floyd with the 11th/12th Pick in the Draft then use on of their 2nds they got in the trade and move up to Select Stephen Hill"

That would be crazy.

Justin Blackmon
Laurent Robinson
Mike Thomas
Stephen Hill
Lee Evans
Cecil Shorts ?

Very unlikely, just passing it along.

Im not sure bout Blackmon falling to 12th (why would KC move up lol), but i could see them trade up for Hill. He's getting overrated by the press, so I'm unsure if he's available late 1st. If he's available at #27, pencil him in as a Jaguar lol. The Pats want an early 2nd to go after Vinny Curry or Brandon Thompson, and the Jags' 2nd is in perfect location for us.

KC reportedly likes Tannehill.

Duh.

& The Jags wouldnt trade their 2nd, they'd trade the 2nd they got with moving down.

Not sure how recent this is, but whatever

According to Pro Football Weekly, Baylor WR Kendall Wright is "parked in the third round" on a number of teams' draft boards after an unimpressive offseason.
There were rumors of an offseason weight gain for Wright, and his forty time at the Combine was slower than anticipated. "Randall Cobb was a lot better," one NFL evaluator said. "Wright is nowhere near as good with the ball in his hands and (Cobb) lasted 'til the back of the second (round). People are getting snookered (by Wright)." Wright managed only four bench-press reps, and Pro Football Weekly reports his body fat was 16 percent. Per PFW, it's "one of the highest percentages for a receiver in the past decade."

Obviously its shit throwing time of the month, teams are gonna say anything about players to get them to slide down boards.

Wright will go in the 2nd round. I find him way more explosive than Cobb BTW

He is. That quote raised my eyebrows. Wright is amazing with the ball in his hands, and at tracking the deep ball. They are actually pretty different players IMO too.

At 6'1 Justin Blackmon can catch a ball 10'11" inches in the air from a stand still... At 6'5 Plax Burress can only catch a ball at 10'8".

Very interesting.

Seven of the last 10 No. 23 overall selections have started as rookies, and only one – Marcus Tubbs, a defensive tackle drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in 2004 – would be considered a bust.
Let's continue the trend :D
Honestly so weird to see the Lions picking so late in the draft lol.

What do you mean? That's why he plays like he's 6'4. He can go up and get the ball. That's why I don't think his size matters, he plays way bigger.

It means he's a better red zone threat than people will give him credit for being "only" 6'1".

BTW Kam, my boy on the PSU team (Chima Okoli, RT) said the Jags are showing a lot of interest and had him for a visit. Probably won't be drafted, but look out for him to be signed. Real high work ethic, high character, has potential to be a solid backup.

Jumping up with nobody coming to hit him in a studio just trying to show his measurements doesn't show much.

Jarrett Dillard has a very high vert for his size... still doesn't make him effective.
