Excuses...should've had a backup that could play worth a shit.
It's not an excuse, it's the truth. Not many teams survive without their starting QB...

How have the Lions done in the past when Stafford has gone down?

Why do you think we picked up Jason Campbell?

2010 we won our last 4 games with backups and two with our third string

Oh yeah, probably no room for Mario, since he's wanting to become the highest paid defensive player in the league.

I'd gladly take Mincey though... What would you think of that signing? I haven't seen him play ever.

OH YEAH! LOL
Mincey is "close" with the Jaguars on resigning. We could also still be in the Mario Market aswell. Mincey is good, nice motor.. not a 10 sack guy tho.. Probably not worth what he'll get paid.

Yeah, I just saw that. Guess the Bears will have to hope the Raiders let go of Wimbley.

Otherwise I'm all for drafting Whitney Mercilus with pick #19.

Per @AdamSchefter, new #Bears WR Brandon Marshall" was involved in another incident" that could lead to a review by the league.

Might not get the chance.

Was reported tonight that the Jaguars are "Gushing and In love" over him.

He has tight connections to the Owner and his son Tony Khan also (who went to Illinois)

Bears are gonna be one tough team to beat... They were one of the top teams in the NFL prior to the Cutler injury, then things really went down hill. Cutler didn't even really have any weapons aside from Forte and he still was good, very underrated IMO. Now, he's actually getting some nice weapons like Marshall. I expect the Bears to be tough once again and maybe, just maybe win the division.. With a real solid defense and a healthy Cutler & Forte with Marshall, that will be scary. Not even counting whatever else they do in free agency and the draft.. Just give Cutler the time and he'll pick you apart.. Very nice addition

"The New York Post is reporting that Brandon Marshall allegedly punched a woman early Sunday morning outside a nightclub in New York City. The Post reports that Marshall, who was traded Tuesday from the Miami Dolphins to the Chicago Bears, had been kicked out of Marquee early Sunday for fighting with an unidentified football player when he punched Christin Myles, 24."

Where would you guys rank Cutler-Forte-Marshall as a QB-RB-WR trio?

I just kinda tossed that out there at my buddy the other day and the only one we agreed was better was in Houston (Schaub-Foster-Johnson). Atlanta would also be in the mix IMO.

My team doesn't have one "star" back, but we do have a bunch of good ones. So I would put the Saints above that. Especially with Drew Brees.
