A league source tells PFT the two sides are working feverishly toward finalizing a new contract before Colston becomes a free agent at 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Colston, we’re told, badly wants to remain a Saint.

Should have offered Brees one, he did you know.. Lift that franchise up and make it what it is now.

They offered a contract that would have made him the highest paid player in NFL history before last season.
