Apparently a ESPN Insider said that NE is trying to put an offer on the pick

Why would you hear NFL trade talk from a baseball analyst?

And no, the Pats wont trade up to #2. It goes against all Belichick morals
There is going to be rumors of NE trading both 1sts and both 2nds probably to move up. And then Belichick keeps the Saints pick, trades the 31st back into the mid 2nd. Uses that pick, trades the Oakland pick for a 2013 1st, and drafts a guy in the 2nd with their own pick.

Its the BB Method

This is more a Community thread for NFL bullshit than NFL draft anyways.

Not happening.

Please stop reading ESPN Insider.. Their shit is full of garbage. They don't have any news or insight that none of us here don't already know. Quit wasting your money on it.

According to Sporting News draft analyst Russ Lande, Michigan State's Kirk Cousins "stood out" as the best quarterback in passing drills at the Combine.

This isn't the first time we'd heard this today. While Cousins was battling a depleted field without Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin, and Ryan Tannehill throwing, he reportedly made the three- to five-step drop game "look easy" and "all of his passes were accurate." Agreeing with Lande, SI.com's Tony Pauline suggested Cousins could be headed for the late part of the first round

So 3" makes him a great WR? I'm not gonna lie, I've only watched three games of his, but he does not at all play at 4.3 speed. Looks 4.5-4.6 on the field, and even though he was in that offense that didn't pass much, when they did, it wasn't against tight coverage, and lots of his stats come off broken coverages. He does have talent, but I'm not sold on him at all.

EDIT

Not to mention the only routes I've seen him run are a fly and a hook. He's super raw. He does have a lot of potential, but I wouldn't use a first rounder on him.
