In a nutshell, Joe Johnson is hobbling, Al Horford is out for the season (could return playoffs), Zaza Pachulia remains the only legitimate center on the roster (veteran Erick Dampier is on his second 10-day contract), Tracy McGrady is frustrated with his playing time at small forward, Marvin Williams is also frustrated with his role at the same position and could want out of town if reports are true. Josh Smith is happy with the organization but if things keep going south in the win column will that feeling hold?
They also just lost Collins for a month.

the team is maxed out
time to rebuild imo

sucks that horford is hurt, but they would still need a shakeup even if he was healthy

They need to trade everyone but Horford and Teague. Build around those two.

I wouldn't build around either of those guys. Trade them all, JJ, Teague, Smoove, Horford, everybody.

theyll need to add horford or teague to ANY deal withh jj in it if they want to get rid of him..and they need to. they need to do anything to rebuild this team and KEEP their picks. teague and horford arent players you can build around but they would be good role players to have to add to that "build around type player".

if they can't trade him, do you think they would possibly amnesty waive jj? If they still have it. Probably not but never know.

They need to keep atleast Horford (depending on his age, not sure how old he is but I think he's still pretty young?). He's exactly the kind of guy you want on your team.

I don't know, it's definitely a option in a few years.

He's going to be making 21.5M in two years.

using it on JJ wouldnt be bad if they keep it around but they still need to pay him a BUTTLOAD of cash. they would be better off keeping him. to me the amnesty is best used on players with salaries like CV.
