Tracy McGrady is frustrated with his disappearing reserve role.

“I’m tired of this [bleep],” McGrady said after logging just 4:39 during the 97-77 loss to the Blazers late Saturday. “You can put that in the paper, I don’t give a [bleep].”

McGrady said coach Larry Drew hasn’t offered him an explanation when he doesn’t play him many minutes.

“If you don’t feel I can help, come tell me that,” McGrady said. “He ain’t told me nothing. I just want to help these guys win, man, which I know I can. But, damn, four minutes?”

McGrady is eligible for a trade on March 1, but indicated he would prefer to remain with the Hawks.

“Hopefully, I’m here,” he said. “I like it here. I like the guys. That’s what I love most about it. I like the guys in this locker room. But at the same time, I still can play. No doubt in my mind.”

Haha I can see why he's mad. He hasn't been bad at all this year.

Yeah, this is the kind of situation where the player is correct. He may not be the TMac of old but the TMac of old was easily one of the best players in the NBA. He's still damn good. Log him some minutes and sub him in for 1-3 whenever the need arises.

Yeah I looked at his profile yesterday and was wondering why he had such a minute drop. Feel bad for him. TMac still has game though.

Maybe he should ask for a release and see what the open market thinks of him, I'm sure he would be flattered.

Atlanta, as a whole, is a team that should be blown up IMO.

I dont think their going to get to their ultimate goal, with the team they have.

I'm not a fan of that team either, guys playing out of place all over.

I agree, that team is like destined for 4th place in the Eastern Conference for the rest of eternity.

they should have been blown up before giving jj that deal.

they could easily be in detroit shoes in a few seasons.

I can see them being in Detroit's shoes around the same time Detroit should hopefully be out of them.
