Will he get traded? I'm leaning towards no. I don't see anyone giving up what the Lakers want.

100% yes

first of all, they already did trade him. the NBA of course nixed it

no secret their shopping him. if they dont do it by the deadline, they'll do it in the offseason for sure

Pau knows it too

Mark Stein said the lakers want a stud PG like Deron or Rondo, but that's unlikely so they'll probably settle for young players/picks. This is where the Wolves Derrick Williams rumor comes in. a deal like that is probably what'll happen

I voted yes. It seems that all the signs are pointing to that.

They should be trading the $25M man instead.

If Kobe wasn't trying to play 1 on 5 every night this year they'd be playing a lot better. You've got two 7 footers, pass it to them once in awhile.

I was listening to the radio this morning and a guest (some NBA guy can't remember his name) mentioned that Minny and Cleveland are two teams interested in Gasol, but nobody wants to trade what the Lakers think Gasol is worth. He said the Wolves won't trade Beasley for Gasol.

Just repeating what the guy said.

If you want to get technical though, I'm sure every team in the NBA is interested in a guy like Gasol. The levels of interest vary greatly though, obviously.

I know

Although, if the Cavs were better and needed one last piece Pau would be a perfect fit next to Tristan in the front court and a great pick and roll man with Kyrie. But yea, too early in the rebuilding process to even consider him.

I don't think it's ever too early. There's so many options with guys like Gasol, I mean look at what Houston was going to give up for him.

Obviously this wouldn't happen, but Sessions and Jamison/Varejao for Gasol? I'm sure the Cavs would take that in a heartbeat lol

Then this offseason draft a guy and then sign someone in FA and yall would be a great team.

It's fun to look at things from a 2K12 point of view lol

Well the draft pick goes down the tubes if we add Pau to this roster. In the off-season though, I would not mind looking into this. I'm sure Mike Brown would love to have Varejao back.

lol Cleveland does want Pau.

Most teams probably do, but not for the asking price.

I wish the Pistons knew how to rebuild like the Cavs.

I wouldnt say that

Pierce, Kobe, and Rondo together would be fucking sick, and we could make it work salary wise too
