Fairly positive that Tiquan won't get a ring or be on the sidelines, unless the Pats worked something out with him on both of those things, which makes cutting him even more retarded.

people are saying that he probably wasn't catching anything in practice, but IIRC, the giants players and coaches were saying how David Tyree couldn't catch a cold in practice and he's the reason we won Super Bowl XLII... The last pass David Tyree ever caught in the NFL was a catch that will never be forgotten, and has made his name memorable even 4 years after he last played, despite never doing anything else worth noting. Tiquan Underwood might have been a good piece to have in the end, but we'll never know now.

I do think that is a pretty shitty thing to do to a guy, I don't know what factored into the decision for certain but I don't think it's right. Especially if the guy they just signed never sees the field, I think that would be pretty sad. Who knows, maybe the guy deserved it but it's still pretty low.

I'm sure Bill Belichick had his reasons, you can't really question much of what he does, I just hope that guy sees the field and contributes in some way, otherwise it was a dick move.

Don't compare Tiquan and David Tyree. David Tyree could catch, never have I heard "He couldn't catch a cold in practice" If that was the case, he wouldn't of been on the team. Tiquan literally has the worst hands in the NFL. Think Troy Williamson, but just as bad.

Crappy teams get lucky and make it all the time now.

the big deal is they cut him for some guy off the practice squad who didn't play a single down, and the funny thing is I doubt anyone expected the guy they filled the roster spot with to actually play 2 or more downs in the game.

Tiquan wasnt going to be active, he was going to be inactive. They thought the guy on the Practice Squad had a better chance at playing.. so they cut Tiquan (Who wasn't going to play anyways, and still would of been in on the experience during the week and still would of got a ring and the 88k if the Pats won).. Don't see anything wrong.

If the Giants did it, you wouldn't be saying its a dick move.
