Knicks vs Cavs tonight. I doubt Melo is gonna be passing the ball as much like he did the other game lol. It'd be interesting to see Shumpert vs Irving even though Shumpert isn't a true PG lol.

Otis Smith indicated Tuesday that it is unlikely the Magic will extend the contract of Ryan Anderson before Wednesday night's 11:59 EST deadline for members of the 2008 draft class.

Anderson is on course to become a restricted free agent in July, and the Magic would have the opportunity to match any offer sheet that Anderson could sign with another team.

"The fact of the matter is that there are very few guys that get extended contracts like that coming off rookie deals," Smith said.

"We like Ryan. We'd like to keep him on our team. Quite honestly, we still have the right of first refusal because he'd be a restricted free agent. It could backfire, and we could have to pay more. But that's the risk we've chosen to take."

Via Josh Robbins/Orlando Sentinel
they also declined the team option of orton.

I remember me saying we need a 3pt threat and I think it was you, may have been GMF, that mentioned Novak, and dude is a pure shooter, never paid him any attention until now.

And yeah Pugz, Amare was on some other shit last night, obviously salty about the trade rumors. But he was playing lazy but mean last night, he and Chandler just raped the Bobcats bigs..

Kemba is the truth though, even though his only move is that stepback dribble
it was me.

A friend of mine was at a recent home game and he said in pre-game warmup Novak was fire from 3-pt. very smooth, fluid shot. Unfortunately he has no other qualities on the court and thats probably why he gets so little time out there.

But when the team is taking so many 3s this season and the guy they specifically brought in to... SHOOT 3s, isn't even touching the floor, you gotta reevaluate your rotation -- especially in a tight schedule where guy can get gassed quicker. D'Antoni needs to stretch that bench a little more -- even 4 or 5 minutes to Jordan would help give CHandler a break. And D'Antoni is going to have to give more time to Jordan or Balkman now that Harrelson is out for 6 weeks.

Ever since Melo hurt his left wrist, his FG% has plummeted. Now that people are questioning his chemistry with Amar'e, he suddenly takes only 7 shots -- missing all of them, but passes the ball a lot more. I'm actually expecting him to pass more tonight as well. Heck, I'd even consider giving him the night off. Need to rest him and have him ready for Friday night vs Miami.

And Pugz, Amare's had back problems in the past. Claims his back is perfectly fine now but he hasn't been backing down defenders in the post and been standing at 3pt line a lot more -- gotta be something bothering him or he's self conscious that he's going to hurt his back again and playing conservatively.

Steve Novak is my homeboy. Plays like 3 minutes once every 3 games but knocks down 1 or 2 3-pointers when he does come in.

lol Mike Dunleavy used to not play him at all, but if the game was close, he'd throw him in the game for the last possession

Jared Jeffries hit a 3. Probably the most shocking thing I've seen on a basketball court.

edit: never mind, Ryan Hollins has hit two straight jumpers. Bit more shocking.

They should've thrown the Lakers logo on there too. How disrespectful...

Also probably should have put a picture of Blake on there to make it more watchable.
