It's only the best situation for him if Deron goes with him.

Time to start the "Dwight Howard to the Mavericks" campaign. Thats the best situation for him and his desire to play for a good title contending team.
Come on man...

Though he and Dirk next to each other would be sick.

Magic general manager Otis Smith reiterated this week that he has given Dwight Howard's representative free rein to discuss potential deals with the Mavericks, Nets, and Lakers.

Agent Dan Fegan made it clear to Sports Illustrated that Howard has no interest in playing for Golden State.

On his way out of Oracle Arena late Thursday night, Howard said "no thanks" to a return to the Bay Area. He said he appreciated the energy of the Oracle crowd, but he didn't see himself playing in a Warriors uniform in a week or even in five years.

This league is such bullshit, players shouldn't get to choose what team they want to go to. It should be who pays the most, like the NFL.

DDwight is clearly not looking like he wants to resign. They should just deal him for the best offer no matter where it is if the new team is willing to chance that.

Chicago needs to make a hard push for him, I think. Probably won't happen, though.

And I agree about this players choosing where they want to go with trades thing. It's complete bullshit. This new CBA was supposed to help the smaller teams get better instead of players monopolizing in big markets like LeBron, Wade, and Bosh did in Miami. Honestly, who the hell wants to see that again? I know I don't. Fuck a top-heavy league. I love it when 1-8 are solid, like it almost always is in the Western Conference.

“He’s been watching them a lot. He’s intrigued by the Clippers,” said the source, who is privy to the trade talks that have taken place between all of the aforementioned teams.

That source also said it now appears more likely that Howard will play out the season with the Magic.

i dont think so either

i have no idea what will happen dwight

i could see a trade to the lakers
i could see he and deron going to dallas
i could see dwight joining deron in NJ as a FA

all 3 scenarios seem equal to me

I don't think it's about winning, if two superstars and another star wanted to join up together in Milwaukee they could win. It's more about promoting their brand and making a legacy for themselves in the big city. And living that kind of lifestyle.

I don't see the Clippers looking too far into this. I'd guess the asking price would be way too high.

But its about time Dwight said he wouldn't mind going there.

Yea that fuck the players! While we're at it lets just get rid of free agency like the old days!! You get drafted, you're fucked.

PS. People say athletes are greedy and you're pissed that players would be LESS greedy to play on a winning team.
