Colts are idiots.

Waited way too long to fire him.

Have to believe that they're going to move on with Luck and not Peyton now, unless they're promoting their current OC to HC, Peyton is as good as gone.

What OC?

Didn't they release the whole staff except Caldwell a week or so ago?

All colts fans rejoice.
Why? Caldwell has been a part of that offense for almost 10 years. He knows that offense under Peyton as well as anyone.

If they're getting rid of Peyton then fine, rejoice. Because clearly he can't operate an offense without Peyton under Center. But if they keep Peyton, I don't like this move.

This move has nothing to do with Peyton and his long term future. If you want to argue what move had to do with Peyton, it was the firing of the Polians who brought Peyton to Indianapolis. It also has nothing to do with the new GM Ryan Grigson, either, it will be the owner Jim Irsay has said on multiple accounts he will make the final decision on Peyton.

There is no way Clyde will become the HC. Absolutely no way.

Caldwell is a clown and yes Kam, you're right, the Colts waited way too long for this day. The guy was practically a cardboard cut-out on the field. No emotion, no expression and just God awful period.

I'd say that for the HC spot you can't rule out the likes of: Zimmer, Morninwheg (Philly connection to Grigson... wouldn't really like it personally) and Spags as a longshot but more likely as a DC if he joins the staff.

Rumors are coming out now that the Colts could look at a Jim Tressel as the HC.

Knew that would happen instantly when we signed him on our staff last year. I don't mind his coaching, as long as he doesn't even come close to touching the offense..
