2012 NFL Free Agency Thread

Free Agency begins Tuesday March 13, 2012.
Don't quote me on that, as I don't have an official source for that.

Anyways, who do you guys want your teams to target?

For the Titans, I'd like Dan Connolly or any good centre or guard really. Titans have a horrible interior line. Also, a good returner. Mariani is soooo freakin slow. Someone like Eddie Royal would be awesome as he'd be good for the return game, and he'd help out at receiver, which we need a good slot guy. Possibly a corner too if Finnegan leaves.

Depends on our cap situation after we sign Avril and Johnson to extensions.
Next priority would be to bring back Tulloch.

Depends how much money, if any, we have after all that lol. But we need corners.

I thought that Brees and their left guard were unrestricted free agents too, with them trying desperatly to sign the guard and Brees I think Colston will get lost in the shuffle.

I have no idea what our cap situation is and the likelihood of us signing anyone of these guys is incredibly slim but I'd like to sign just one name on this list.

Any serviceable nose tackle, depth at inside linebacker, interior offensive linemen and cornerbacks.

Via free agency or the draft, I don't care how it happens... we need bodies at those positions.

Brees will get signed obviously, and I don't see Colston leaving town. I think the Saints will open up cap by reworking some other deals (they do this every year) so they have more money to sign the guys they want to keep. We're only at 95M right now, and some guys will rework their deals/get cut like I just mentioned.

Personally, I think we sign Brees and Colston long term and place the tag on Nicks.

Saints just announced a press conference for 4 today, not sure what it could be for since end of the season press conferences and interviews were yesterday. Lost of speculation that it could be about Spagnuolo being our new DC because he's been in town all day long.
