BRISBANE, Australia -- Bucks center Andrew Bogut is returning to the United States on Sunday and is expected to be ready to play for Milwaukee on Tuesday against the San Antonio Spurs, his agent, David Bauman, said.

Bauman said that "given the time difference and the length of the flight back to the U.S., it is unlikely he will be able to make it back in time for the Bucks' game in Phoenix" against the Suns on Sunday night.

Earlier Sunday, Bruce Kaider, his Australian-based manager, had told The Associated Press that he expected Bogut to return to the Bucks soon as he sorts out some family issues.

"Andrew feels bad that this serious personal matter caused him to miss four games and he will be ready to play Tuesday without limitations or restrictions," Bauman said.

"We do not expect to comment further, but Andrew appreciates the support and understanding during this difficult time that he has received from his teammates, Bucks' management and the Bucks' fans. In particular, he also appreciates how the media and fans respected his request for privacy during these past few days."

Kaider told the AP that Bogut is completely fit, but the Aussie is in his hometown of Melbourne and dealing "with those things we all have to go through in life, certain personal issues that he is experiencing at the moment." Kaider did not elaborate.

On Saturday, the Bucks lost 92-86 to the Los Angeles Clippers, Milwaukee's third game in a row without Bogut.

Bogut, who has 63,500 Twitter followers and has posted nearly 14,500 tweets, has been silent on the social networking site since Jan. 3.

Bogut, the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA draft in 2005, is averaging 14.3 points and 10 rebounds for the Bucks after elbow surgery late last season.
I just had to post this because:

1) It sounds like something very serious happened.

2) This just goes to show how far off the radar the Bucks are, Bogut is a very good center, probably one of the best ones in the game, and I hadn't heard a single sole talk about this.

This is the way it should be when personal things happen. It took quite a bit for the media to leave Brian Urlacher alone when his mother died.

Not in Louisiana apparently, none of my buddies have it and you can't even pay extra for it because it isn't even offered.
