Head coach Raheem Morris and his entire staff have been fired by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to team and league sources.

Morris was with the Bucs for three seasons, compiling a 17-31 record.

The Bucs later confirmed Morris' firing, via the team's official Twitter account. The team also announced that there will be a news conference at 3 p.m. ET.

"We want to thank coach Morris for all his hard work and dedication as head coach of the Buccaneers," Bucs co-chairman Joel Glazer said in a statement.

Bucs general manager Mark Dominik added: "I have a lot of respect … for the passion coach Morris gave to our team, but this change is one we felt was necessary."

I'm not sold that the Bucs will actually hire a real HC.

I liked his mentality, and it worked for them last year. Hard to make a case for keeping a coach that a 10 game losing streak happens under.

I was surprised the Bucs did as well as they had last season, and really never thought they'd have a good season this year. And of course, when you lose 10 in a row you better be out on your ass.

Good riddance. This guy never should have been a HC.

So much for all that great youth and talent the Bucs had.....

A lot of people on SI hyped the shit out of this team and their HC....

My thoughts exactly.

Get Jeff Fisher for god's sakes!

Then draft some talent to be around Freeman. He's a good QB, but he's getting hammered behind a terrible o-line (guards especially) and has 2 or 3 slot WRs to throw to.
