i picked up Monroe and missed out on Gallo lol
we have similar mindsets

i have Corey and Douglas too
Yeah, I knew the guy behind me liked Gallinari, but I didn't think he'd be looking at Monroe. It went -

ME - Gallinari
HIM - Monroe
HIM - Beasley
ME - Hibbert

Hopefully Toney has a big year, because the Knicks backcourt sucks.

Paul Allen, who bought the Blazers in 1988, said he intends on remaining the owner, but he will no longer be among the highest-paying owners, like the early 2000, when his payroll skyrocketed to as much as $108 million.

“As an owner, you really want to do the team right, the fans right, and the community right and build a winning organization,’’ Allen said. “So I’ve invested a lot, but the crazy luxury tax days and all those things, those are gone. Those are gone ... There’s no enjoyment to losing money.’’

Allen would not give a long-term commitment to owning the team, saying his health will be a factor in his involvement, as will the success of the team.

“I think if at some point things were getting stale, or if we were going to be a lottery team forever ... that would be a challenge,’’ Allen said.

Anyone heard about the new rule change where you can't rip through the defender anymore? I hate it.

It's just a non-shooting foul now. Which is probably right.

Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman is willing to feature Kevin Love, Michael Beasley and rookie Derrick Williams in the same frontcourt because of the stress they can put on an opponent’s defense.

"They're a tough matchup for the other team, but they have to do the job defensively," Adelman said. "They were active Saturday night. The key is everybody has to keep their concentration. That's the biggest problem we have. We get into situations on the weak side, and we don't have guys thinking all the time. We'll keep working at it."

Adelman might have to limit how much time he plays the trio together until Williams becomes a better defender. Adelman said the No. 2 overall pick in the 2011 draft has a "ways to go" defensively.

Y! Sources: Kris Humphries will sign a one-year deal worth between $7M-$8M to stay with the New Jersey Nets. yhoo.it/sSFt8C
Give AK47 that same deal, and say hello to the 7th seed.

What do you guys think of my fantasy team?

PG - Ty Lawson
SG - Tyreke Evans
SF - Andre Iguodala
PF - Amare Stoudemire
C - Dwight Howard
G - Raymond Felton
F - Danilo Gallinari
C - Roy Hibbert
UTIL - Ed Davis
UTIL - Jameer Nelson

BN - Tyrus Thomas
BN - Corey Maggette
BN - Toney Douglas
Love the Lawson pick, really think he breaks out this year. He played real well after the Melo trade.
