not if the offer already includes a player waiting for a break out all star type year, a $12Mill expiring, a prospect, and a first round pick likely to be top five. take that damn deal. nothing will beat it..
Something can always beat it....

if teams are willing to beat it is different.

But if I were owner of the Hornets, i'd shoot down every deal for Paul til I get the one where you go D:

The Clippers have more to offer apparently, because they're so reluctant to deal their 3rd string PG.

Bill Simmons:
Just got word the Clips/CP3 trade is definitely off. Can only be revived if NBA bends on its super-steep asking price. This is I-N-S-A-N-E.
Guess NOLA was right.

Stern you ******* ***** ******* ******* *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's three trades Stern has ruined.

Can anyone still defend him?

Yes, you're job is to ask for the moon. You also have to be realistic and realize that, for the most part, nobody's stupid enough to pay that steep of an asking price.

It's called a compromise.

Bud Selig is a complete joke, and Roger Goodell is so excessive with fines and his "strict" commissioner act.

So because he declined a terrible trade, and now a good trade, he's a bad commissioner?

The lockout that happened was projected to last the whole year, and Stern got the owners to lighten up on some issues and got the deal done..
