The Indiana Pacers have had their sights set on Memphis Grizzlies guard OJ Mayo for some time, and today they have finally found a way to get him. The Pacers have agreed to sign and trade Josh McRoberts along with Brandon Rush to the Grizzlies for Mayo.

The Pacers nearly acquired Mayo at the trade deadline in a three-team deal with the New Orleans Hornets, but the Hornets pulled out at the last minute (not at David Stern’s command, in that instance).

The Grizzlies have been looking for another front line piece to back up Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph, and McRoberts will fill that role nicely.
Good pick up for Indy.

Oh I thought it was just McRoberts...

George plays great defense, usually teams start defense minded players....

Dude is nice when he gets his minutes.

I think he is a nice scorer to pair with Granger.

If your talking about Mayo I agree. He'll be their 6th man. Hill will come in to backup Collison.

Hill will come in at the 1, not the 2. George would play 3 and 2.

But i'm guessing George starts. Teams usually start defensive players, and George played very well in the playoffs.

Mayo will start. He showed last year he isn't worth it off the bench.

I dunno. He can start, but to me he is like a Jason Terry 6th man type.

lmao. to be honest, i was meaning george hill and forgot about paul george. haha. i can see pg starting over mayo. haha. but i also think mayo should be the starter. and paul george can back up the two and three if he doesnt start.
